The provisional voters’ registration will be made available online starting today: Learn how to verify yours.
The provisional voters’ register will be made available online by the Electoral Commission (EC) starting today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, and continuing until Saturday, October 19, 2024.
The EC said in a statement that voters could verify their information for free by using the shortcode 71151#. The Commission is cleaning up the voter registration in advance of the final compilation for the 2024 General Election, and this exercise is a part of that effort.
Voters can check their information on the online exhibition and report any inconsistencies so that the Commission can make the necessary corrections.
“Voters can also use our website, https://ec.gov.gh, to verify their information. To view your registration details, just click the pop-up link in the bottom-right corner of the screen and input your 10-digit Voter ID number.
The EC stated, “Any discrepancies found should be reported for necessary corrections to the District Office where voters are registered.”
Voters will not be allowed to request any modifications once the exhibition time finishes, the Commission stated, but they will still be able to verify their information online.
Additionally, political parties were urged to use the Commission-provided template to submit any anomalies they discovered during the exhibition time.
