Robbers with guns shoot the MoMo vendor and flee with GH₵120K and phones at Amanfrom.

Famous Fiagbe, a 34-year-old vendor of mobile money (MoMo), is fighting for his life at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.

This came after he was shot by two armed robbers in Aman from American Down in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, who also stole GH₵120,000 and several cell phones.

Tuesday night was the tragic situation.

According to a police source, the victim was attacked by the motorcycle-riding suspects as soon as he locked up his shop around 10:00 p.m.

The victim’s mother, Favour Dikah, told Adom News in an interview that she witnessed the robbers kill her son as they demanded his bag and money.

Before gaining access to the bag containing the money and leaving the scene, the devastated mother said that the suspects had fired more than five shots.

Since the money does not belong to her son, Madam Dikah has made a plea to Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), to assist them and apprehend the offenders.

She revealed that in addition to the actual cash, the burglars made off with enormous quantities of cash on their phones.
