Armed robbers are cornered by police inside the sealed Lapaz FX bureau.
Lapaz locals are still in shock over a spectacular robbery attempt that happened there on Friday morning.
When the criminals became stuck inside the Rahama Forex Bureau, what started out as a premeditated theft took an unforeseen turn.

A little while later, heavily armed police officers encircled the premises.
As the police planned how to capture the robbers inside the sealed bureau, terrified locals gathered to watch the drama play out.
The armed robbers were locked inside the forex bureau as police surrounded them in Lapaz.
Although police responded early, it’s been reported that no arrest has been made and the suspected robbers escaped through the back door of the forex bureau.

The suspects subsequently escaped through a backdoor.
In a statement, the police said they are on a manhunt for the two robbers involved.
“We would like to assure the public that we will surely get them and bring them to face justice,” the police statement added.
