On September 4, the Black Stars will begin training in preparation for their last 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Central African Republic.

On Monday, the players are anticipated to arrive and start getting ready in Kumasi later in the day.

Prior to the critical game on Saturday, Chris Hughton selected his 25-man roster.

According to the Ghana Football Association, some important players, including Thomas Partey and Daniel Amartey, will miss the game due to injuries.

The Central African Republic will visit Ghana in their final Group E match on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

With nine points, Chris Hughton’s squad is in first place in Group E, one point better than Angola and two more than the Central African Republic. With two points, Madagascar sits at the bottom of the standings.

The Black Stars must earn a point in order to qualify for the event that will take place in Ivory Coast in January.
