Bagbin commends Mahama for her resounding electoral win.

President-elect John Dramani Mahama received heartfelt congratulations from Speaker of the House of Representatives Alban S. K. Bagbin for his resounding win in the election last Saturday.
Jean Mensah, the returning officer for the presidential elections and the chairperson of the Electoral Commission, delivered this announcement.

The Speaker praised the faith placed in Mr. Mahama, calling it a display of bravery, in a statement issued from his office.

Mr. Bagbin declared, “Today, we celebrate not just a victory, but a reaffirmation of our democratic principles.” “The election of John Mahama is a testament to the people’s will, and I have no doubt that he will guide Ghana towards greater inclusivity and prosperity.”

In addition to congratulating the newly elected president, the Speaker urged all Ghanaians to support him. Now, it is up to us all to help him with the nation-building endeavour.
He continued by saying, “By working together, we can address the challenges that lie ahead and make sure that every citizen feels the impact of good governance.”
